Bike Friendly Route Rides

Are you wanting to use your bike to get around Charlottetown, but aren't sure of the best way to get from A to B? Join us for our weekly Bike Friendly Route Rides, where we'll show you some of the best routes to navigate through the city safely. We'll focus on separated AT pathways and quiet streets to build your confidence as a commuter cyclist, highlighting safe connections and shortcuts to cut down your route!

These rides will be novice- and family-friendly, setting an easy pace and lasting 45-60 minutes. Each week will follow a different path, so feel free to join in as often as you like!

Our rides will meet at Red Island Cider, next to the Confederation Trail, and we'll aim to set out promptly at 6:30pm each Tuesday. Bring your helmet, water, and of course your bike! RSVP to the Facebook event and get updates here. See you there!

Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. The Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years. We honour the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which recognized Mi’kmaq rights and established an ongoing relationship between nations. We are all Treaty People.
